AMT provides In-Service design support on a task basis for ships of the RAN Adelaide Class (FFG). The services include Requirements Analyses, Engineering Assessments and the development of detail design and Installation Work Packages for installation by third party contractors and shipbuilders.

Recent activity has included a detail design package for the installation of a compass repeat, engineering assessment on the safe stowage of gas cylinders and a detail design package for the installation of materiel solutions to acoustic and OH&S issues within the ships.

AMT also provides updates to Technical Maintenance documentation, a current example being the preparation of Technical Maintenance Specifications for the ships' HVAC system installations.
