AMT provided support services to the AASSPO in the development of the Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment Functional Performance Specification (AOR FPS). The AOR FPS was developed to specify the requirements for the replacement of the RAN's Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment capability. AMT performed a study advising on the potential synergies and conflicts between Classification Society and Naval Standards for vessels such as an AOR and also whether the FPS requirements covered all areas that would be expected in a Specification for a modern AOR.

DMO's engagement of AMT as sole source supplier is a positive endorsement of AMT capability and of its reputation within the Defence Department.
